Core Lithium Ltd has returned high-grade lithium assays from its first exploration diamond drill hole at the BP33 project within the Finniss Lithium Operation in the Northern Territory.

The hole, designated NMRD100, intersected 34.08 metres at 2.09% Li2O from 578.70 metres with a true width of 28.50 metres. The intercept includes higher-grade intervals of 5.28 metres at 2.80% Li2O, 5.40 metres at 2.37% Li2O, 7.11 metres at 2.19% Li2O, and 9.83 metres at 2.23% Li2O. A secondary intersection further down hole returned 3.43 metres at 2.44% Li2O from 616.50 metres.

NMRD100 was designed to test mineralisation extensions outside the existing BP33 Mineral Resource Estimate of 10.5 million tonnes at 1.53% Li2O. The hole successfully intersected spodumene mineralisation adjacent to hole NMRD085, which previously returned 90.17 metres at 1.80% Li2O from 568.83 metres.

Drilling at BP33 is ongoing, with an additional four holes planned to target further extensions down-dip and along strike from NMRD085 and NMRD100.

Exploration is also underway at the Blackbeard prospect, with up to 12,150 metres of diamond drilling planned. Core Lithium is mobilising an additional diamond drill rig to accelerate the campaign, with assay results expected over the coming months with the potential to provide a future ore feed to Finniss. Ore processing at the Grants open pit is slated to occur during the September quarter of 2026, with the company's first shipment of newly produced spodumene concentrate on track for the December quarter of 2026.
