Cosmo Metals Limited has commenced a systematic soil sampling program at the Plunkett & Cassidy prospect within the Antimony Gully Trend at the Bingara project in New South Wales.

The program involves collecting approximately 380 soil samples on a 50x100-metre grid over a two-kilometre strike length using a mechanised auger to penetrate shallow cover. Samples are undergoing field pXRF analysis, with a representative selection sent for laboratory-based quantitative analysis.

The work aims to define strike extensions and test for parallel lines of lode beneath shallow cover to establish drill targets. Previous mapping and rock chip sampling identified parallel lodes over 100 metres apart and up to 1.2 kilometres in strike length, returning grades of up to 10.3% antimony at Plunkett & Cassidy East and 5.37% at Plunkett & Cassidy West.

The project covers ground identified by the Geological Survey of New South Wales as holding high antimony-gold prospectivity. Cosmo holds 100% ownership of the tenements following mid-2025 acquisitions.

“This first ever systematic soil sampling program is designed to identify and prioritise targets for drill testing in a region that includes the world class Hillgrove antimony - gold deposit being developed by Larvotto Resources, an important and exciting stage in our discovery strategy at this high conviction target.”

— Ian Prentice, Managing Director

Following soil sampling and ground truthing, Cosmo plans to finalise and prioritize drill targets at Plunkett & Cassidy. The company is also progressing regulatory approvals for initial drill testing at the Mona Mine within the Bingara VMS Trend.
