Coyote Copper Mines Confirms Large Porphyry Footprint at Copper Springs
Coyote Copper has identified widespread, coherent copper and molybdenum anomalies across its Copper Springs project in Arizona, with soil sampling returning values up to 0.266% copper and 59 ppm molybdenum. These results from 1,606 collected samples delineate kilometre-scale clusters that validate the 3D spectral IP inversion of CSEM-MT geophysical “donut” features previously announced in May.

The geochemical data reinforces a multi-kilometre hydrothermal footprint, supporting the interpretation of two large porphyry systems located in the Central Zone and the Northwestern area. The Central Zone exhibits a 3 km-diameter copper anomaly, which contains two distinct 1 km-diameter molybdenum anomalies. Molybdenum is a critical indicator of porphyry systems, often marking deeper, mineralized portions of an intrusion. Coyote Copper noted that these targets appear to be exposed at or near the surface, contrasting with deeper mineralized systems found elsewhere in the region.
The integration of geochemical results with drone magnetics, IP surveys, and hyperspectral imaging has strengthened the geological model. The alignment of these independent datasets suggests magnetite-destructive phyllic alteration and sulphide-rich shells, which are characteristic of large-scale porphyry systems.
In response to the positive findings, Coyote Copper staked an additional 2,000 acres on August 5, 2026. This expansion brings the company’s total land package to 774 Bureau of Land Management (BLM) mining claims, covering approximately 16,000 acres. The new claims are designed to secure the projected southeastern extensions of the Santa Ana mineralized corridor and the Gibson target areas.
The company is now moving forward with further field programs to refine these targets. This includes ongoing mapping, structural analysis, and channel sampling, particularly where quartz-chalcopyrite vein stockwork mineralization is exposed over 350 metres. Coyote Copper expects to complete the remaining soil sampling campaigns, which focus on the northeastern and southeastern portions of the project, by the end of August 2026.
