Critica Limited has appointed Mike Kevan as interim study manager as the company advances parallel scoping studies across its flagship assets.

The appointment marks another step in the company’s transition from exploration toward project development. A formal recruitment process is underway for a permanent full-time general manager projects.

The company is currently progressing scoping studies across the Mt Lindsay project in Tasmania and the Jupiter Rare Earth Project in Western Australia. Both studies are scheduled for completion in Q3 2026, revising an initial target for Jupiter that had previously pointed to the first half of 2026.

The Mt Lindsay work involves a first-principles redesign of one of Australia's largest undeveloped tin-tungsten projects, integrating mining, processing, infrastructure, and environmental considerations into an underground development concept. Meanwhile, the Jupiter scoping study is incorporating recent metallurgical optimisation programmes that improved beneficiation performance, concentrate grade, and hydrometallurgical performance at Australia's largest clay-hosted rare earth project.

Work at Jupiter is also supported by an updated mineral resource estimate process backed by 145 infill drill holes. Across the surrounding district, Victory Metals Limited launched a rare earths pilot processing plant at its North Stanmore project in June 2026 launching a rare earths pilot processing plant at its North Stanmore project.
