Critical Elements Hits 2.05% Lithium Over 7.7 Metres at Rose WestSource: Critical Elements Lithium
Critical Elements Lithium Corporation has returned assay results from its Phase 2 summer exploration program at the 100% owned Rose West Discovery in Eeyou Istchee, Québec, highlighted by an intersection of 2.05% lithium oxide and 221 parts per million tantalum pentoxide over 7.70 metres in hole RW-26-36.
The 10,000-metre systematic drilling program aims to expand the mineralized footprint to approximately 1,250 by 2,000 metres and test the lateral continuity of multiple pegmatite bodies within the system. Hole RW-26-36 also intersected 1.46% lithium oxide and 176 parts per million tantalum pentoxide over 23.35 metres through Pegmatite 3. Additional results from hole RW-26-37 returned 1.32% lithium oxide and 157 parts per million tantalum pentoxide over 13.25 metres through Pegmatite 5, alongside 0.94% lithium oxide over 22.40 metres through Pegmatite 3. Hole RW-26-57 returned 1.08% lithium oxide and 154 parts per million tantalum pentoxide over 18.70 metres through Pegmatite 5, including a higher-grade interval of 2.15% lithium oxide over 6.00 metres.
Drilling has covered the immediate eastern extension of the Main Target Area, where the stacked, flat-lying orientation of the pegmatites allows for rapid expansion using relatively short surface drill holes. A major fault intersected in holes RW-26-53 and RW-26-55 is interpreted to explain the absence of Pegmatite 3 in holes RW-26-57 and RW-26-58. Assays have been received for 11 previously drilled holes, while an additional seven holes have been completed and are undergoing preparation for assaying.
Rose West is located approximately 10 kilometres west of the company's flagship Rose Lithium-Tantalum Project and represents the corporation's first lithium asset advanced within its land portfolio. The primary Rose project was evaluated in a feasibility study announced on August 29, 2023, which estimated an after-tax net present value of US$2.2 billion at an 8% discount rate and an after-tax internal rate of return of 65.7%.
Elsewhere within the surrounding district, Brunswick Exploration reported final drill results from the Anatacau project in June 2026, including an intercept of 1.13% lithium oxide over 27.4 metres in hole AN-26-12.
Critical Elements expects to receive final assay results from the ongoing Phase 2 Summer 2026 drilling program at the Rose West property. The stock is currently trading at $0.355, up 2.90%.
