Crossroads Gold Hits 24.6 g/t Gold in Pambula Soil Sampling
Crossroads Gold Corp. has returned high-grade gold-in-soil assay results of up to 24.6 g/t Au from its ongoing exploration program at the Pambula Gold Project in southeastern New South Wales, Australia.
The company acquired 100% of Rox-ex Pty Ltd in May 2026, securing ownership of the gold asset. Project owner Rox-ex staked one new exploration and mining title application near the project in July 2026.
The initial soil program across the historic Pambula Goldfield and the Back Creek Pyrophyllite prospect is now complete, totaling 1,390 collected samples. To date, Crossroads has received 612 gold assays, while 114 samples are currently undergoing gold assaying and 664 samples are being prepared for X-Ray Fluorescence analyses and gold assaying.

Aside from the established Pilot Fissure Zone, the strongest assay results continue to emerge at the historic Hidden Treasure Zone and the newly identified Hidden Treasure North Zone. Highlights include assays of 24.6 g/t Au, 21.8 g/t Au, 11.5 g/t Au, 8.4 g/t Au, and 6.64 g/t Au. The undrilled Hidden Treasure Zone strikes parallel to the Pilot Fissure.
In July 2026, Crossroads completed an airborne LiDAR survey across the Pambula Goldfield that identified 122 adits, 115 shafts, 981 shallow prospecting pits, and 708 trenches.
“As we integrate geochemical results with the extensive historic workings identified by LiDAR, we are developing a more detailed picture of the Pambula Goldfield,” added Motton.
“That work is helping us focus our exploration efforts and prioritize what we believe are compelling targets ahead of our maiden and future drilling programs. Importantly, this sampling is generating substantially more drill targets than were contemplated in the original drill program.”
— Rex Motton, CEO & Director
Crossroads plans to conduct a maiden drilling program at the Pambula Gold Project, with an intention to test the Hidden Treasure zone from existing Pilot Fissure drill sites by working from west to east.
