CVW Sustainable Royalties Inc. reported accrued revenue of $405,000 from its royalty debenture with Northstar Clean Technologies Inc. for the three months ended June 30, 2026, marking an increase from $367,000 recorded in the same period of 2025.

Total accrued revenue from the Northstar debenture reached $795,000 for the first six months of 2026. Alongside the royalty stream, the company earned interest income of $533,000 for the second quarter, bringing total interest income for the first half of the year to $622,000.

The financial results follow the closure of a $50.0 million strategic investment from Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, which required shareholder approval to create a new class of non-voting common shares. That transaction brought total gross proceeds raised by the company in 2026 to approximately $100.0 million. The capital follows an agreement earlier in the year where CVW Sustainable Royalties entered into its second royalty partnership with Relocalize Inc. to provide up to $26.5 million in capital, including $4.0 million in upfront funding, for commercial micro-factories.

Northstar closed the final tranche of its US$10.0 million private placement during the quarter to support debottlenecking at its Calgary facility, and subsequently commenced sales to liquid asphalt offtaker McAsphalt Industries.

Commercial operations are underway at Relocalize's micro-factory in Plant City, Florida, which is generating revenue ahead of expected full commercial production in 2027. CVW Sustainable Royalties anticipates receiving its first royalty payment from the Plant City facility in the third quarter of 2026, and also plans to fund Relocalize's Montreal facility during the same quarter.

Reflecting on the period, CEO Akshay Dubey stated:

“The first half of 2026 was transformational for the Company. In February, we welcomed Relocalize as our second royalty partner, with the ability to finance up to 15 total deployments. In April, we completed a significant financing of $100.0 million which materially strengthened our balance sheet, providing us with significant capital to continue to grow our royalty portfolio. We remain focused on disciplined capital deployment and identifying additional high-quality royalty opportunities, while continuing to advance the commercialization of our CVW™ technology, to create long-term value for our shareholders.”

The company continues to advance discussions across a growing pipeline of sustainability-focused royalty opportunities, with several currently at advanced stages of review.
