Dalaroo Metals Ltd (ASX: DAL, OTCQB: DALMF) has completed its most extensive field exploration program to date at the Blue Lagoon rare earth project in southern Greenland. The campaign successfully shifted the project from an initial exploration concept into a structured, well-defined rare earth system. By integrating geological and structural mapping with geophysical surveys and bathymetric data, the company has established the technical framework necessary to advance toward future drill targeting.

The exploration activities identified four new target areas, including the 34-square-kilometre Blue Lagoon South prospect. Field teams mapped a complex, multi-phase alkaline intrusive system, which is considered a favourable host for rare earth mineralization. During the mapping process, researchers identified several outcrops containing red-coloured minerals that were visually interpreted in the field as potentially containing eudialyte-like phases. Dalaroo has transitioned its broader exploration model from a reconnaissance-based approach to a systematic source-to-sink model over the first half of 2026.

More than 200 samples, including rock chips and sediment, are currently in transit to ALS Laboratories in Perth for comprehensive multi-element geochemical analysis. These analytical results are critical for refining the company's emerging geological model and identifying the most fertile intrusive phases. This phase of work is a major milestone for the project, as it provides the foundation for Dalaroo to prioritize high-confidence targets across the expanded licence area.

Moving forward, the company is focused on several upcoming catalysts to advance the project’s technical evaluation. This includes the pending receipt of assay results from the samples now at the laboratory, alongside mineralogical studies aimed at identifying primary rare earth-bearing minerals. Additionally, the company will conduct preliminary metallurgical test work to evaluate the potential application of conventional beneficiation techniques to the project's mineral assemblages.
