Dart Mining NL has compiled a verified digital database of 150 historic drill holes totaling 7,672 metres across the Walwa Tin Project in Northeast Victoria, defining two high-priority drilling targets ahead of an upcoming campaign.

The compiled dataset comprises 78 reverse circulation holes for 2,847 metres, 59 percussion holes for 4,235 metres, and 13 diamond holes totaling 590 metres. Review of this data alongside structural interpretations indicates that the apical zone of stacked, sub-horizontal aplite-pegmatite-greisen dykes at Walwa presents a clear setting for deeper exploration.

The geological review has generated two specific targets: larger tonnage, high-grade greisen-hosted tin mineralisation expected at the top of an underlying felsic intrusion situated 400 to 600 metres below surface, and repeating mineralised aplite-pegmatite dykes located beneath the previously drilled intervals. Seismic surveys have previously indicated the presence of at least four additional dykes exceeding four metres in thickness below the known mineralised structures.

Historic pre-JORC estimates for the project include 8.64 million tonnes grading 0.163% tin and 50 parts per million tantalum pentoxide from a 1982 Union Corporation estimate, alongside a higher-grade selective zone of 993,000 tonnes at 0.38% tin and 55 parts per million tantalum pentoxide. Historical drilling highlights include 5.1 metres at 0.34% tin dioxide from 7.5 metres and 6.1 metres at 0.58% tin dioxide from 35.1 metres in hole DDH2 at Mt Alwa, as well as nine metres at 0.32% tin dioxide from 54 metres in hole WRC0011.

The current update follows a site visit in June 2026 that involved qualitative observations of surface dykes. Commenting on the target generation, Chairman James Chirnside said:

“Review of historic exploration and mining data from the Walwa tin mine area has greatly enhanced our understanding of the tin mineralisation and has generated two high-priority drilling targets in addition to the large known tin mineralised system. Proposed diamond drilling is planned to commence in October 2026 to test these large and exciting targets.”

Diamond drilling to test the newly defined priority targets is scheduled to commence across the Victorian tenements in October 2026.
