Decade Resources Mobilizes Drill at Bonaparte Copper-Gold Property
Decade Resources Ltd. has mobilized a drill to the Bonaparte property, 50km north of Kamloops, British Columbia, for a 3,000m, six-hole Phase I program.
The company is targeting a buried porphyry copper-gold system, following up on geophysical and geochemical anomalies across the 4,149-hectare site. The initial holes will test chargeability and resistivity anomalies, with the first targeting the Discovery area to evaluate the mineralized system. Locations for the final four holes will be determined after analyzing the first two.
President Ed Kruchkowski highlighted that recent field work identified fine fracturing and chalcopyrite-pyrite veinlets in hornfels rock samples, indicating a mineralized intrusive body.
“In late July, a contract sampling crew completed a soil sampling survey over the south part of the indicated IP anomaly resulting in the collecting of over 750 soil samples and 30 rock samples. The rocks were cut with a diamond saw to provide smooth surfaces for study. In examination of the rock samples, many were hornfels... What was of great interest was the fine fracturing in this hornfels containing fine veinlets of chalcopyrite and pyrite. These rocks are interpreted as being over 275 m above the chargeability anomaly. The Company feels that this is further evidence of all the positive indicators for a buried porphyry copper-gold system.”

Decade is currently trading at $0.07, up 7.69% on August 6, 2026. Upcoming catalysts include the completion of the drill program and the release of initial assay results.
