District Copper Schedules Copper Keg DCIP Survey for August 26

District Copper Corp. has scheduled its upcoming 14.5 line-kilometer DCIP geophysical survey at the Copper Keg project to commence on or about August 26, 2026, following the integration of four years of systematic exploration data into a unified geological model.
The survey will be conducted by Quantec Geoscience using its Titan DCIP system and is anticipated to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, subject to wildfire conditions. The program forms part of District Copper’s broader schedule to advance its flagship property toward a notice of work application and its first-ever diamond drill program.
The project is situated approximately 20 kilometres north of Teck Resources Ltd.’s Highland Valley Copper operation, which is currently undergoing a mine life extension through 2046. District Copper’s integrated geological interpretation outlines two priority porphyry copper targets within the northern portion of the Guichon Creek batholith. Target #1 features an open-ended chargeability anomaly with overlying copper-in-soil anomalies and secondary mineralization. Target #2 is defined by a gossan zone exhibiting high-temperature alteration assemblages and elevated molybdenum concentrations.

If it does, we will be in a position to submit a notice of work and begin planning our first drill program on a property that has been recognized as prospective since the 1890s but has never been tested by modern drilling.”

The upcoming geophysical program is designed to delineate the lateral and vertical extent of the chargeability anomaly at Target #1 and determine whether a chargeability anomaly exists beneath the potassic-altered gossan zone at Target #2. Following completion of the survey, the company intends to submit a notice of work in the third quarter of 2026 to support drill target definition.
