District Copper Corp. has entered into an agreement to acquire a 368.4-hectare property directly adjacent to its Copper Keg project in British Columbia.

Under the terms of the transaction, District will acquire a 100% interest in mineral claim 1137534 in exchange for $2,500 in cash and 375,000 common shares. Completion of the agreement brings the company’s flagship property to 23 claims totaling 6,525.83 hectares.

The acquisition secures the last remaining mineral claim situated between Copper Keg and Teck Resources Ltd.’s Highland Valley Copper operation located approximately 20 kilometres to the south. The newly acquired ground is underlain by Kamloops Group volcanics and covers several magnetometer highs identified in existing airborne magnetic datasets.

District designates Copper Keg as its flagship asset, focusing exploration efforts on advancing the property toward its first-ever diamond drill program. Management plans to incorporate the new magnetic signatures into its ongoing exploration model alongside data from an upcoming geophysical survey.
