DPM Metals Inc. achieved commercial production at the Vareš silver-gold mine in Bosnia and Herzegovina on August 10, 2026, after daily throughput averaged 72% of the plant's design capacity over a 30-consecutive-day period.

Commercial production was declared after the operation exceeded the threshold of 60% of design throughput capacity and recoveries across the 30-day qualification window. Previous quarterly reports described the asset as advancing through its operational ramp-up phase following its integration into the company's portfolio on September 3, 2025, via the acquisition of Adriatic Metals plc.

Driven by this operational performance during the first half of the year, DPM now expects full-year 2026 production for Vareš to land at the higher end of its guidance range of 105,000 to 130,000 gold equivalent ounces.

“Achieving this milestone for Vareš ahead of schedule is a testament to DPM's track record of building, expanding and optimizing mining operations, as well as our commitment to unlocking value by investing in our people and our assets”

“From day one, we focused on embedding DPM's health and safety standards, investing in training and leadership development of the local team and transferring our proven operating practices, which has laid the foundation for Vareš to deliver near-term production growth for DPM and long-term value for our shareholders”

— David Rae, President and Chief Executive Officer of DPM Metals

The sustained plant stability has reinforced the company's confidence in the processing facility, positioning the operation to target its full production run-rate of 850,000 tonnes per annum by year-end 2026.
