DPM Metals reports Q2 production as Vareš ramp-up continues
DPM Metals Inc. (DPM) has released its preliminary production results for the second quarter of 2026, reporting a consolidated output of 102,000 gold equivalent ounces. The company’s performance was supported by steady contributions from its operations at Chelopech and the ongoing operational expansion at its Vareš mine in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Vareš asset remains a key focus for the developer, contributing 35,000 gold equivalent ounces during the period. The site saw a significant operational uplift, with ore processing volumes rising by 48% compared to the previous quarter. DPM is advancing infrastructure projects at the site, including a paste backfill plant and a second tailings filter, both of which are expected to reach operational status by the end of the year. The company maintains its target to reach a full production run-rate of 850,000 tonnes per annum by year-end.
Elsewhere, the Ada Tepe operation in Bulgaria is nearing the end of its lifecycle. The processing plant is scheduled to conclude operations on July 15, 2026. DPM is actively transitioning its asset base by preparing to dismantle specific processing facilities from this site, which will be refurbished and repurposed for the upcoming Čoka Rakita project. Construction at Čoka Rakita is currently pencilled in to begin in early 2027.
Investors can expect further operational and financial detail when the company releases its full second-quarter results after the market close on July 30, 2026. A conference call and audio webcast are scheduled for the following morning.
