Dryden Gold Corp. (DRY) has secured an exploration permit for its Mud Lake target, a key component of its Dryden Gold project in Northwestern Ontario. The company confirmed that this regulatory approval clears the way to commence drill testing at the site, which was previously identified through geological mapping and surface sampling programs. The upcoming drill campaign will target extension zones north of the company’s existing permitted area, where researchers have identified a high-grade shear zone. Recent surface samples from this specific structure returned high-grade gold values reaching 93.00 g/t.

The project sits within a dominant strategic land position, with the company controlling over 50km of potential strike length along the Manitou-Dinorwic deformation zone. Management views the structural alignment at Mud Lake as a potential indicator of a broader mineralized district, citing geological similarities to well-known high-performing camps in the region. Exploration teams are currently preparing to deploy a second drill rig to the area, with operations at Mud Lake scheduled to begin in early August 2026.

Beyond the Mud Lake target, the newly approved permit also authorizes exploration work at the Wamsley target, another area of interest flagged during earlier regional mapping efforts. Currently, the company is managing dual exploration workstreams at its flagship Gold Rock site. One rig is focusing on expanding the known structural footprint, while a second drill is testing for depth extensions within a central mineralized corridor situated between the Elora and Big Master systems.

The company continues to advance these high-priority targets as part of its broader 2026 field program. By testing for structural periodicity across its land package, the team aims to confirm its geological interpretation that the MDdz may host a series of gold deposits throughout its extensive strike length.
