Dryden Gold Reports New Structures at Gold Rock
Dryden Gold Corp. (TSXV: DRY) has confirmed the discovery of two new gold-bearing structures at its Gold Rock project in Ontario. The results come from a drill program that aims to map the structural complexity of the camp, revealing mineralized corridors that lack surface expression. The company reported a significant intersection in drill hole DGR-060C, which returned 3.38 g/t gold over 4.30 meters, a result that included a higher-grade sub-interval of 19.90 g/t gold over 0.50 meters at a depth of 250 meters.
These findings are part of a broader expansion of the company’s known mineralized footprint at the site. Dryden Gold noted that its drilling efforts have now identified more than fifteen separate structures and a dozen high-grade zones. The new "Elora 2" structure displays brecciated quartz veining similar to that found at the historical Big Master mine, suggesting greater structural continuity across the property. Additionally, the company successfully tested the Paymaster target, extending that specific zone’s footprint to 750 meters. Following the news, the company’s stock rose 8.51% on July 29, 2026, reaching a closing price of $0.255.
"Gold Rock continues to generate many exciting new high-grade gold targets across a growing footprint. With only five holes completed at Elora 2, we have already identified a high-grade zone and demonstrated approximately one kilometer of strike length. With the second drill rig deployed at Gold Rock, our objective is to define additional high-grade zones within this growing mineralized system and continue advancing this robust gold system." — Maura Kolb, P.Geo., President of Dryden Gold
To support these objectives, management has deployed a second drill rig to the site. The current exploration focus is twofold: the team will continue a systematic evaluation of the Elora 2 target to better understand the distribution and periodicity of its high-grade zones, and they will target the down-plunge and down-dip extensions of established zones at the Jubilee, Spyglass, and Buccaneer prospects. These follow-up efforts are intended to assess the open-pit potential of the project while further refining the geological model for the camp.
The company also reported success along the southern extension of the Big Master system, where recent drilling intersected mineralization in every hole, indicating a potential convergence of key structures that could host concentrated gold. As the program progresses, Dryden Gold expects to release additional assay results from the current campaign, which will provide further clarity on the scale and grade distribution within the broader mineralized system. The ongoing work emphasizes the company's commitment to testing the deeper extensions of the camp, reinforcing the view of the project as a persistent, multi-zone system that remains open to further discovery. With the operational expansion now in place, the team remains focused on expanding the known mineralization to support future resource development.
