Dundas Minerals has commenced a reverse circulation drilling programme exceeding 5,000 metres across its three advanced gold projects located approximately 40 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Drilling is being carried out by Nexgen Drilling using a track-mounted Schramm T450 RC rig across the Capricorn, Baden-Powell and Rockland deposits. All three projects sit on granted tenure with approved Programmes of Work and heritage clearance in place.

At Capricorn, drilling is targeting resource extension and infill on Mining Lease M24/1004 to grow the 659,300-tonne Inferred Mineral Resource at 1.2 g/t gold, which remains open to the north, south and at depth. Baden-Powell is similarly undergoing resource extension and infill around its 595,000-tonne Inferred Mineral Resource at 1.2 g/t gold, the majority of which sits within 100 metres of the surface.

At Rockland, follow-up drilling is testing depth and strike extensions of high-grade shoots, following previous re-assay results that returned 3 metres at 6.94 g/t gold from 138 metres.

Capricorn and Baden-Powell hold open ended shallow gold resources. Both were estimated when gold averaged around A$2,650 an ounce, neither has been mined*, and both are open in every direction. Rockland is the newer story, with high-grade sitting in shoots that are open down dip on every section.
