Dundee Corporation (DC.A) has kicked off its 2026 exploration program across its properties in the Spences Bridge Gold Belt, British Columbia. The company is currently deploying prospecting, soil sampling, and geological mapping teams across the Shovelnose and Prospect Valley project areas. These field activities are intended to refine targets ahead of a significant 15,000-metre exploration drilling program set to begin this month. This upcoming campaign is slated to continue through mid-December, marking a major effort to test the broader potential of the belt.

The field work is supported by a strategic earn-in agreement where Dundee may invest up to CDN$85 million to secure a majority interest. As part of this commitment, the company is also pushing ahead with a 35,000-metre infill drilling program focused on the South Zone deposit. Recent results continue to demonstrate consistent mineralization, including an intersection of 9.8 metres grading 8.3 g/t gold and 11 g/t silver from hole SNR26-83. These infill results are critical for building confidence in the current resource model.

Management views these concurrent workstreams as a balanced approach to project development. The infill data will feed directly into an updated mineral resource estimate, which is a necessary precursor to the ongoing Pre-Feasibility Study. This engineering work remains a primary objective for the company, with current plans targeting the completion of the Pre-Feasibility Study in the second half of 2027.

"We are excited to see exploration activity underway across the Spences Bridge Gold Belt. The combination of district-scale exploration, and continued advancement of engineering studies and resource work, provides multiple opportunities to unlock value while improving our understanding of the broader potential of these assets." — Jonathan Goodman, President and CEO

By combining aggressive resource definition at the South Zone with wider reconnaissance across its land package, the company aims to derisk the project while simultaneously testing for new discoveries. With the drill rig count increasing, the project team is now focused on executing these seasonal programs before year-end to maintain their development schedule.
