Dynasty Gold Corp. has identified grains interpreted as visible gold in drill hole DP26-01 at the Thundercloud property in Northwest Ontario. The potential gold was observed within a vug at a depth of 100 metres, associated with a band of sulphide mineralization containing pyrite, pyrrhotite, and minor chalcopyrite.

The hole was drilled at a 180° azimuth and a -52° dip, with a collar location 30 metres northwest of an earlier hole, TC24-06. It represents the first encounter with possible visible gold in the South-Pelham target area, which sits 1 kilometre south of the company’s established Pelham resource. The five-hole drill program in the South-Pelham area was designed to test various induced polarization (IP) chargeability anomalies, which typically indicate the presence of sulphides. Throughout the program, the drill intersected multiple zones of weak sulphide mineralization hosted within a sequence of pillow-basalt, mafic breccias, and fine-grained sediments, intersected by medium-grained quartz-feldspar porphyry dykes.

The current exploration work at the South-Pelham target is scheduled to continue until the fall. The company noted that additional drilling may be conducted in this specific area once assay results from the current first phase of drilling are received. Beyond the work at South-Pelham, planned high-priority exploration targets for the project include testing down-plunge extensions of the highest-grade gold chute and trend within the Pelham resource, as well as investigating the potential for a fault offset at the eastern end of the Pelham gold zone.

Dynasty Gold Corp. is currently trading at $0.13, up 13.04% in the session following the release of the drill results.
