E3 Lithium Ltd. filed its unaudited financial statements for the second quarter of 2026, reporting the successful commissioning of Phase 2 of its Demonstration Facility at the Clearwater Project in Alberta.

The reservoir production test confirmed lithium concentrations of 75.8 mg/L alongside a steady-state flow rate of 1,400 cubic metres per day. Those results align with brine chemistry across the broader Clearwater asset.

The operational milestone follows the late-2025 construction of Phase 1 of the Demonstration Facility, which produced battery-grade lithium carbonate with an average purity of 99.7%. E3 Lithium is currently advancing Phase 3 of the facility alongside the project feasibility study.

To support those technical workstreams, the company executed a contribution agreement on June 8, 2026, confirming up to $36.5 million in non-repayable funding through Natural Resources Canada’s Global Partnerships Initiative. That funding covers 75% of the estimated $48 million project cost to complete Phase 3 and the feasibility study.

As of June 30, 2026, E3 Lithium held $51.3 million in undrawn government grants to fund ongoing activities as the asset advances toward a final investment decision and commercialisation.

The current resource inventory stands at 21.2 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent in the Measured and Indicated categories, compared with 16.0 million tonnes reported in the Q1 2024 resource update. The Clearwater Pre-Feasibility Study outlined a proven and probable mineral reserve of 1.13 million tonnes, delivering a pre-tax net present value at an 8% discount rate of USD 5.2 billion with a 29.2% internal rate of return. That compares with the 2021 preliminary economic assessment, which estimated a pre-tax NPV of USD 1.1 billion.

“The second quarter of 2026 built on the momentum established earlier in the year, with continued execution across our technical, strategic, and organizational priorities,” said Chris Doornbos, CEO & Chair of E3 Lithium. “We successfully commissioned Phase 2 of our Demonstration Facility, confirmed funding of up to $36.5 million from Natural Resources Canada, progressed strategic partnership with Germany’s TKMS, advanced our European market access strategy, and further strengthened our leadership team as we move closer to construction. Taken together, the quarter reflected disciplined execution across every pillar of our strategy, partnerships, technical de-risking, growth strategy, and leadership, as we advance Clearwater toward commercial production.”

The company continues to advance engagement with strategic partners and government stakeholders as it moves the Clearwater Project toward commercial operations.
