E79 Gold Mines Limited has secured an option over the P21/800 tenement application in Western Australia, expanding the footprint of its Cue Gold Project by 1.5 square kilometres.

The transaction is structured as a low-cost, cash-only option agreement totalling $50,000. Consideration comprises an initial $25,000 cash payment to secure the option, followed by a second $25,000 cash payment upon the grant of the tenement. This structure differs from E79’s initial December 2025 acquisition agreement for the main Cue project area, which involved $50,000 in cash alongside $100,000 in shares across six tenements. E79 originally acquired the Cue Gold Project in December 2025 through its 90%-owned subsidiary Cue Metals Pty Ltd following the exercise of that initial option.

The newly secured tenement application sits between the existing Cue project area and neighboring holdings in the Murchison Region. Multiple gold targets identified from recent gravity surveys extend directly through the application area. These targets lie within interpreted north-west cross-cutting structures traversing both the Great Fingall Dolerite and the adjacent Meekatharra Formation greenstones, which serve as host units for high-grade gold deposits across the district.

“We are excited to have secured a low-cost opportunity that expands the footprint of our Cue Gold Project in the Murchison. This new tenement covers an area of 1.5km 2 and contains multiple drill targets located on interpreted north-west cross-cutting structures which cross through both the Great Fingall dolerite and the adjacent Meekatharra Formation greenstones - units which both host high-grade gold deposits in the region.”

The tenement is currently in the application stage. Before drilling can proceed, the ground must be incorporated into E79’s existing heritage agreement.

Heritage surveys covering the targets within P21/800 are scheduled for early October alongside environmental approvals. These steps pave the way for the company's initial aircore drilling program across the project, which is anticipated in the December Quarter 2026.

“Drill targets on P21/800 will be included in the upcoming heritage survey in early October, which paves the way towards our initial drill program at the Cue Project in the coming months.” — Ned Summerhayes, CEO

Activity across the surrounding Murchison district continues to highlight active exploration, with recent resource drilling at Odyssey Gold's Tuckanarra project returning high-grade results including 2 metres at 29.1 grams per tonne gold in August 2026.
