Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. and Earthwise Minerals Corp. have intersected gold and polymetallic mineralization in all three holes of a recently completed 1,182-metre diamond drilling program at the Iron Range Project in southeastern British Columbia.

The 2026 program successfully tested the Talon Zone structure to infill historical mineralized intercepts and assess continuity along trend. Hole IR26053 returned 15.0 metres grading 0.53 g/t gold from 374.0 metres, including a 0.50-metre interval grading 7.26 g/t gold and 49.9 g/t silver. Hole IR26054 intersected 24.0 metres grading 0.73 g/t gold from 303.5 metres, alongside a higher-grade intercept of 0.50 metres at 11.75 g/t gold and 79.9 g/t silver.

The strongest results came from hole IR26055, which was designed to test an upper mineralized structural trend to the southwest. That hole intersected an upper horizon returning 60.5 metres grading 0.76 g/t gold from 21.0 metres, including a 1.0-metre interval grading 6.62 g/t gold and 67.1 g/t silver.

“We are very encouraged by the results from the 2026 drilling program. Hole IR26055 indicates the potential for additional ore shoots within the broader Talon Zone. Similar structural splays off of the Iron Range Fault system, coincident with anomalous pathfinder geochemistry and IP geophysical anomalies that are modelled to extend to depth exist elsewhere in the Talon Zone area, and are untested by drilling.” — Chuck Downie, President and CEO

Earthwise fully funded the 2026 campaign under an exclusive option agreement to acquire up to an 80% interest in the property. To exercise the first-phase option for a 70% stake, Earthwise must fund $4,000,000 in exploration expenditures, make $250,000 in cash payments, and issue 1,500,000 common shares over a four-year term.

The completed 1,182-metre program followed an initial spring proposal calling for a minimum of 1,200 metres of diamond drilling. Elsewhere in the surrounding district, Upside Gold Corp. completed an expanded 2026 diamond drilling program totalling approximately 5,180 metres in 19 holes at the Kena Gold-Copper Project on September 2, 2026. Eagle Plains originally acquired the 20,021-hectare project in 2001. Prior to the current campaign, Eagle Plains and its various partners had completed 21,593 metres of diamond drilling across 87 holes at Iron Range. All drill-indicated intercepts from the latest program are measured along core length, with true thicknesses yet to be determined.
