Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. has reported sampling results from its 2026 field program at the 100% owned Pine Channel property in Saskatchewan, returning analytical grades up to 269 grams per tonne gold from grab samples.

The field program collected 55 rock samples, comprising 54 grab samples and one chip sample. Analytical grades ranged from trace amounts up to a high of 269.00 grams per tonne gold, with 13 samples returning assays exceeding 1 gram per tonne gold, including three samples above 100 grams per tonne gold.

Work focused on defining structural controls on mineralization, completing confirmation sampling at historical showings, and evaluating targets generated by airborne magnetic and LiDAR interpretation.

At the Pit target area, resampling of mineralized quartz vein material from the Vein 3 trench returned 269.00 grams per tonne gold. At North Norite Bay, a rock grab sample collected from quartz vein material in a historical trench yielded 130.50 grams per tonne gold over a strike length of 375 metres. Sampling at Algold Bay confirmed historical high-grade mineralization, with a grab sample returning 118.0 grams per tonne gold along a 290-metre shear-hosted trend.

Additional sampling across other property targets also returned high grades. Occurrence 9 returned 10.15 grams per tonne gold from a historical trench sample, while sampling at the Old Cabin and Ridge target returned up to 5.65 grams per tonne gold from sulphide-bearing quartz veins. At Thompson Island Gold, a rock grab sample assayed 7.46 grams per tonne gold, 115 grams per tonne silver, 8.7 percent lead, and 3.1 percent antimony.

Past operators active on the Pine Channel property during the 1980s included Golden Rule Resources Ltd. and Colchis Resources Ltd., prior to Eagle Plains acquiring the claims in 2018.

Eagle Plains is currently conducting comprehensive data interpretation and analyses to define and prioritize targets for diamond drill testing at the property.

In a separate update, the company received notice that Refined Energy Corp. has elected to terminate its option agreement on the Dufferin uranium project, returning project rights to Eagle Plains.
