Eastport Hits 330m at Semarule With 5.95% TREO High Grade

Eastport Critical Metals Corp. has intersected 330 metres grading 0.21% total rare earth oxides from a downhole depth of 20 metres in the first diamond drill hole at the Semarule Project in south-central Botswana.

Drill hole SEM005 tested the western side of the Semarule syenite intrusion, intersecting a higher-grade interval of 47.5 metres at 0.64% total rare earth oxides from 20 metres depth. This included a 7.5-metre intercept at 2.52% total rare earth oxides from 22.5 metres, anchored by a 2.5-metre section averaging 5.95% total rare earth oxides from 27.5 metres downhole.

Magnetic rare earth oxides, comprising dysprosium, terbium, neodymium and praseodymium, account for an average of 28% of the total rare earth oxide content across the intersection.

The company holds a 100% interest in the Semarule project, which is situated approximately 40 kilometres northwest of the capital city, Gaborone. The eight-hole diamond drilling program was designed to target both the syenite geology and the cross section of a ground gravity anomaly, with hole SEM005 collared on the western edge of the geophysical feature.

Eastport expects to receive assay results from the remaining diamond drill holes of the Phase 1 program as testing continues across the target area.
