Eclipse Metals Reports 87% to 94% NdPr Mineral Deportment at Grønnedal
Eclipse Metals Limited has completed quantitative automated mineralogical analysis on four composite samples from the Grønnedal Project in southwest Greenland, indicating that 87.5% to 94.3% of contained neodymium and praseodymium is hosted in identified rare-earth-bearing mineral groups.
The testwork, performed by ALS Metallurgy, shows that between 77.2% and 92.6% of the neodymium and praseodymium across the four composites is housed within two principal mineral groups targeted for upcoming flotation test work: REE fluorocarbonates and REE carbonates. The primary mineral assemblage is dominated by synchysite and calcioancylite-type minerals, with subordinate bastnäsite, parisite, monazite, and xenotime.
Liberation analysis demonstrated that at the tested grind size, 63% to 75% of the REE fluorocarbonates and 61% to 79% of the REE carbonates have at least 30% exposed mineral surface. This surface exposure provides a basis for testing flotation response and establishing a beneficiation pathway that selectively rejects carbonate gangue.
The Grønnedal Project is situated within exploration licence MEL2007-45 in southwest Greenland and forms part of Eclipse’s broader Ivigtût critical minerals portfolio. The project's current Mineral Resource Estimate stands at 208 million tonnes at 0.72% Total Rare Earth Oxides, representing a material increase from the previous estimate of 89 million tonnes at 6,363 ppm TREO.

The next phase of metallurgical work will evaluate flotation to determine whether reagents can selectively remove impurities and concentrate the ore further. In parallel with ongoing processing studies, assay results from 54 rock-chip samples collected across the Grønnedal Project are anticipated during the fourth quarter of 2026.
