EcoGraf Secures A$2m Underwritten SPP to Advance Epanko Financing
EcoGraf Limited has launched an underwritten Share Purchase Plan to raise approximately A$2 million to support ongoing development work across its vertically integrated battery anode materials business.
Eligible shareholders registered as of 2 September 2026 can subscribe for new fully paid ordinary shares priced at a 20% discount to the volume-weighted average market price calculated over the final five trading days prior to the issue date. Participants may apply for a minimum of A$2,000 up to a maximum of A$30,000 worth of shares, with Canaccord Genuity acting as underwriter and lead manager to the offer.
The company intends to use the capital alongside existing cash reserves and grant funding to advance the debt financing process for the Epanko Graphite Project in Tanzania, which is underpinned by an updated Bankable Feasibility Study outlining a 73,000-tonne-per-annum operation with a pre-tax net present value of US$516 million. EcoGraf has previously mandated KfW IPEX-Bank to arrange a senior secured loan facility of up to US$105 million for the development of Epanko under the German Untied Loan Guarantee scheme, backed by over US$30 million invested to date across its graphite mine, mechanical shaping facility, and purification assets.
Funds raised will also support strategic project equity and offtake processes, expansion and development studies, ongoing gold exploration activities under a farm-in agreement with AngloGold Ashanti, and general working capital requirements. EcoGraf retains the discretion to accept oversubscriptions or execute a top-up placement for institutional and sophisticated investors if certain foreign jurisdiction limitations restrict shareholder participation.
The offer opens for eligible participants on Monday, 7 September 2026. New shares are scheduled to be issued on Monday, 5 October 2026, with trading expected to commence on Wednesday, 7 October 2026.
