Edison Lithium Files NI 43-101 Technical Report for Quebec Gold Assets

Edison Lithium Corp. has advanced its proposed acquisition of the Joutel North-West gold property and the Gagné gold-copper property in Eeyou-Istchee James Bay, Quebec, by officially filing an independent technical report.
The technical report, prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 with an effective date of July 8, 2026, marks the formal filing of documentation that remained in progress and unfinalized in late June. The submission clears a key hurdle toward the transaction, following an earlier update confirming that the TSX Venture Exchange geologist considers the report complete.
Under a property option agreement effective February 27, 2026, with Globex Mining Enterprises Inc., Edison Lithium is earning a 100% interest in both the Joutel North-West gold asset and the Gagné gold-copper asset.
To maintain and advance the earn-in under the agreement, the company faces upcoming financial and operational milestones. On May 1, 2027, Edison must pay Globex $200,000 in cash, issue $300,000 in value of common shares, and complete $500,000 in exploration and development work on the properties.
Final completion of the transaction remains conditional. The acquisition is subject to the final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange, alongside the company satisfying the remaining requirements outlined in the exchange's conditional acceptance letter.
