Element 29 Nominates Randy Smallwood and George Brack to Board

Element 29 Resources Inc. has nominated Randy Smallwood and George Brack for election to its board of directors at an upcoming virtual annual general meeting scheduled for September 25, 2026.
If elected by shareholders, the two mining industry veterans will join the company as independent board members. Assuming all management nominees are approved, they will serve alongside non-executive Chair Brad Mercer, independent directors Patrick Elliott, Mary-Carmen Vera and Chet Idziszek, and executive director Richard Osmond.
Smallwood brings extensive governance and streaming experience from his long tenure leading Wheaton Precious Metals Corp., where he served as chief executive officer until earlier in 2026 and remains non-executive chair. He also participated as a strategic investor in the company's $12.0 million private placement financing that closed in August 2026.
Brack brings 35 years of industry experience spanning exploration, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and investment banking. He currently serves as lead independent director of Wheaton Precious Metals and holds directorships with other publicly listed mining companies.
Registered shareholders and appointed proxy holders must pre-register by September 23, 2026, to participate and vote during the virtual meeting. Further background details and qualifications for both nominees are available in the management information circular filed on SEDAR+ and on the company's website.
