Emerald Resources Reports Positive Drilling Results Across Portfolio
Emerald Resources NL (EMR) has released an update on its drilling programs for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, detailing significant gold intercepts across its projects in Cambodia and Australia. The explorer is currently focused on extending the life of its producing Okvau gold mine while concurrently advancing satellite prospects and its Australian holdings. The company operates two primary regional growth platforms, managing 1,085km² of tenure in Cambodia and 1,110km² in Australia.
At the Okvau site, recent underground and open pit extensional drilling returned high-grade results, including 18m at 16.67g/t gold. These intercepts, located outside the current resource area, are expected to extend known mineralisation. Simultaneously, the company is conducting pre-mining ore definition drilling at the Granite Hill and Okvau North prospects to facilitate future resource estimation and evaluate their potential to provide supplementary feed for the main processing facility.
In Western Australia, drilling at the Dingo Range Gold Project targeted resource infill and open pit extensions at the Boundary and Great Northern deposits. A standout result from the Boundary prospect included 11m at 18.35g/t gold, confirming the continuity of existing high-grade mineralisation. The project remains a central component of the company’s Australian exploration strategy, where technical teams are assessing both open pit and underground development potential.
The company also completed a resource infill program at the Memot Gold Project in Cambodia, aimed at increasing confidence in reserve modifiers such as ore loss and dilution. Regarding future growth, the company is preparing an Industrial Mining Licence application for the Anchor Prospect within the Snuol exploration area, which is being evaluated as a satellite source for Memot. Furthermore, Emerald plans to commence additional RC drilling across several prospects, including Area 5, O Put, O Rman, and Prey Sror Lao, as the next dry season begins later this year.
Operational focus remains split between maintaining production at Okvau and building out a pipeline of satellite targets. With over 1,000 assays pending from the Okvau near-mine programs, the company is working to integrate these data points into its broader mine design assessments. By targeting both underground extensions at the primary mine and testing underexplored prospects within its large land packages, Emerald continues to refine its resource base across its two core operational hubs. The consistent flow of drill results supports the company’s ongoing efforts to delineate additional high-grade ore to sustain its production profile.
