eMetals Limited has expanded its exploration footprint at the Mineral Range Tungsten Project in Utah, USA, by securing an additional 36 mineral claims along the mineralised contact of the Mineral Range Batholith.

The newly granted claims cover 718 acres (290 hectares) immediately north of the historical Garnet mine. These additions encompass extensive garnet-rich skarn zones identified through earlier mapping and reconnaissance work, representing the most productive mineralisation style found at the asset to date and offering high prospectivity for tungsten enrichment.

Following the grant, the project now spans a 100% interest in 145 mineral claims covering a total of 2,782 acres (1,125 hectares). The expansion extends the continuous strike length along the Mineral Range Batholith to over 12 kilometres, providing multiple exploration prospects with significant potential to test both known strike and depth extensions of historical workings.

The ground has an extensive history of tungsten mining within the project area, featuring several past-producing mines. These include the Garnet mine, which yielded 634 tonnes at 0.64% WO₃, the Big Pass mine with 279 tonnes at 0.79% WO₃, and the Two R's mine with 70 tonnes at 0.58% WO₃.

The tenure increase comes ahead of active field operations. Earthworks and drilling at the project are scheduled to commence later this month.
