eMetals Limited has received formal regulatory approval to commence a 17-hole diamond core drilling program at its Mineral Range Tungsten Project in Utah, USA. The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil, Gas and Mining, has cleared the company’s Notice of Intention to Conduct Exploration, following the lodgement of a required reclamation surety.

The company is shifting its primary exploration focus toward the Mineral Range project as part of an accelerated development schedule. Since acquiring the project in April 2026, eMetals has moved to full permitting status in four months.

The upcoming program will feature HQ diamond core drilling with individual hole depths ranging from 50 to 200 metres. The holes are positioned across five drill pads and are designed to intersect the targeted tungsten-mineralised horizon perpendicular to strike. This geometry is intended to test the continuity and structural characteristics of the mineralisation, which is hosted within metasomatised carbonate-skarn beds adjacent to the Mineral Range Batholith.

eMetals has engaged TonaTec Exploration LLC to carry out the drilling operations. On-site preparations are currently underway, with earthworks and the construction of drill pads expected to start imminently. The company anticipates that the main drilling phase will begin in approximately three weeks.

The primary objective of this maiden drill campaign is to generate structural and geological data to assist with future resource assessments and exploration targeting within the 2,072-acre claim area.
