Eminence Expands Bahia Rare Earth Footprint With Tayra Project Applications
Eminence Minerals Limited has lodged three exploration licence applications covering approximately 3,697 hectares to consolidate the new Tayra Rare Earth Project in the Itarantim-Maiquinique district of southern Bahia, Brazil.

The applications were submitted through the company's wholly owned subsidiary, EQN Brazil Ltda, under process numbers 871.180/2026, 871.181/2026 and 871.183/2026. Grant of the exploration licences remains subject to the applicable regulatory processes administered by Brazil's Agência Nacional de Mineração.
The project area sits within a broader alkaline and metasomatic geological province on the southeastern margin of the São Francisco Craton. Mapped geological features in the district include alkaline granitoid bodies approximately 0.8 km from the main polygon and fenite located roughly 5 km southeast of the project corridor.
The application ground features low-relief terrain where deeply weathered regolith, which typically hosts ionic adsorption clay rare earth deposits elsewhere in the district, is preserved. Reconnaissance desktop measurements indicate that approximately 84% of the corridor, covering about 3,120 hectares, lies at an interpreted gradient of 15% or less, rising to 96% within certain areas. Public-domain airborne radiometric data displays elevated thorium dominance over potassium across parts of the ground.
Protoreth fertility represents the principal technical risk for the project. The ground applied for is mapped on orthogneiss, and the presence beneath it of a weatherable rare earth-bearing source rock has not yet been demonstrated.
Eminence holds the 1,690-square-kilometre Campo Grande Rare Earth Project elsewhere in Bahia, representing another rare earth exploration asset in the company's portfolio. At Campo Grande, auger drilling has been completed across initial targets, with assay results from Targets 3 and 4 expected in September or October 2026 following sample dispatch to the SGS GEOSOL laboratory.
Field reconnaissance, geological mapping and targeted geochemical sampling form the immediate work focus for the newly consolidated Tayra project to test the geological model and address technical risks. These exploration activities follow the company's recent portfolio optimisation, which included completing the strategic divestment of the Mata da Corda Project in Minas Gerais for USD $2.0 million in cash during July 2026.
