Emperor Metals Hits 20.1 Metres at 5.0 g/t Au in Duquesne West Drilling
Emperor Metals Inc. has returned 20.1 metres grading 5.0 g/t gold from a vertical depth of 375 metres at the Duquesne West project in Quebec, alongside further assay results from its 2026 exploration campaign.

The completed 2026 program delivered 20,479 metres of new drilling across 66 holes and approximately 8,000 metres of targeted historical core resampling, generating more than 28,000 metres of combined data. Assay results have now been received for 38 holes totaling 12,128 metres, representing about 59% of the new drilling.
Systematic infill drilling in areas of previously widely spaced historical holes—such as hole DQ26-46, which intersected the 20.1-metre interval from 436 metres downhole—is designed to refine geological models and support the conversion of portions of the current Inferred Mineral Resource into the Indicated category in a future NI 43-101 resource estimate update.
“What we are demonstrating is the substantial thickness and grade of one of several mineralized lenses that exhibit significant replacement style mineralization and continuity, highlighting the potential to add meaningful ounces both within and beyond the current resource footprint.”
“Increasing the thickness and grade of these existing mineralized lenses highlights a compelling opportunity to materially expand the resource by incorporating mineralization that is not currently captured within the existing resource model. As our understanding of the structural controls and replacement-style mineralization continues to advance, we are increasingly able to target these highly permeable zones with greater precision, providing a clear pathway to extending the deposit and unlocking additional high-grade ounces in a meaningful and systematic manner.”

The ongoing exploration data feeds into Emperor Metals' broader objective of advancing Duquesne West toward a Preliminary Economic Assessment. The deposit currently hosts an inferred resource estimate of 26.9 million tonnes at 1.69 g/t gold for 1.46 million ounces.
Alongside Duquesne West, Emperor Metals holds the Lac Pelletier project near Rouyn-Noranda, which features existing underground development and an underground mining permit allowing production of up to 1,000 tonnes per day.
