Endeavour Silver Corp. has temporarily suspended operations at its Terronera mine in Jalisco, Mexico, after an illegal blockade halted site activities on August 12, 2026.

The suspension halts active production at the operation, which reached commercial status effective October 1, 2025, following a successful commissioning phase and subsequent ramp-up.

Members of the nearby Ejido community initiated the blockade over several grievances, including demands regarding road maintenance, water supply access and control, communications, assistance with medical services, and increased financial assistance. The protest has remained peaceful, orderly, and respectful since its start.

The site remains staffed with a reduced workforce to handle safety and security protocols, and the operation remains accessible for routine maintenance activities. Endeavour is holding active discussions with Ejido community leaders to resolve the dispute and resume full operations at the mine as soon as possible. The company retains the option to pursue legal action and stated it will exercise all available legal remedies if the blockade is prolonged.

The disruption affects one of the company's core operating assets. Endeavour operates as a mid-tier silver producer with operating mines and exploration projects across Mexico, Peru, Chile, and the United States, including the Guanacevi and Bolanitos mines in Mexico and the Kolpa mine in Peru.
