Engineer Gold Mines Ltd. has started an infill diamond drill core sampling program at the TAG Property, which forms part of the 18,319-hectare Engineer Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia. The property is subdivided into three principal areas, including the past-producing Engineer Gold Mine, the TAG Property, and the Wann River prospect.

The sampling initiative targets historical core recovered during 69 diamond drill holes totaling 11,524 metres completed by CZM Capital Corp. between 2006 and 2008 along the 025FZ structure. Engineer Gold Mines identified sampling gaps in key intersections within the historical holes and aims to systematically resample the mineralized corridors over an initial strike length of 750 metres, though the structure extends across a six-kilometre trend.

The company has reviewed 16 historical drill holes so far, laying out and tagging 330 core samples across 258 target intervals selected from 35 historical holes. The prepared samples are being sent to MSA Labs in Prince George, British Columbia, for photon assaying.

To help fund exploration across the portfolio, Engineer Gold Mines closed a non-brokered private placement in August 2026, raising total gross proceeds of $566,405.

Results from the current sampling program will be incorporated into data models during 2027 to generate fresh diamond drill targets. These targets are intended to support the preparation of a mineral resource estimate for the TAG Property.
