Equity Metals Lifts Silver Queen Inferred Tonnage By 169%
Equity Metals Corporation has delivered an updated mineral resource estimate for the Silver Queen project in British Columbia, expanding inferred tonnage by 169% compared to its 2022 estimate.
The updated independent estimate, prepared by Kirkham Geosystems and P&E Mining Consultants with an effective date of September 11, 2026, supersedes the December 2022 resource. The new model incorporates an additional 87 core drill holes totaling 34,482 metres completed since the prior estimate, alongside newly added mineralization from the George Lake deposit and lateral extensions across the No. 3, Camp, and Sveinson vein sets.

At a C$122 per tonne Net Smelter Return cut-off, the project hosts indicated mineral resources of 3.57 million tonnes averaging 184 g/t silver, 1.8 g/t gold, 0.3% copper, 0.7% lead, and 3.8% zinc. This represents 48.7 million ounces of silver equivalent, or 737,000 ounces of gold equivalent, marking a 3% tonnage increase in the indicated category over the 2022 baseline.
Inferred mineral resources expand to 5.16 million tonnes averaging 104 g/t silver, 0.7 g/t gold, 0.2% copper, 0.4% lead, and 1.7% zinc. That tonnage compares with 1.92 million tonnes in the December 2022 model, resulting in 35.0 million ounces of silver equivalent or 529,000 ounces of gold equivalent. Contained metal within the inferred category grew substantially, including a 68% increase in silver, a 132% increase in gold, and a 124% increase in zinc.
Equity Metals owns a 100% interest in the Silver Queen property with no underlying royalties, situated along the Skeena Arch in the Omineca Mining Division. Elsewhere in the district, Blue Lagoon Resources started a 10,000-metre drilling program and reported increased production at the Dome Mountain gold-silver mine on September 8, 2026.
The updated resource applies a stope optimization protocol to establish reasonable prospects for eventual economic extraction, introducing internal dilution to maintain mineable widths across narrow, high-grade veins. Precious metals account for approximately 72% of total net smelter return value, with gold and silver dominating deposit economics.
As a result, Inferred Mineral Resources significantly expanded in the current MRE.
