Errington Metals Corp. has intersected multiple polymetallic zones in its initial 2026 spring exploration drilling at the Sudbury Basin Project in Ontario, led by an 11.0-metre intercept grading 6.41% copper equivalent in hole EME-26-086.

The program at the Errington Zone returned several other notable high-grade intercepts, including hole EME-26-089 with 19.3 metres grading 2.68% copper equivalent, hole EME-26-100 returning 12.3 metres grading 3.49% copper equivalent, and hole EME-26-083 delivering 8.90 metres grading 4.83% copper equivalent.

Drilling in the eastern portion of the zone encountered elevated gold and silver values, building on similar precious metal signatures identified during 2025 exploration. The new data supports an updated geological interpretation indicating that mineralization is faulted and offset down-dip rather than closed off by folding, leaving the deposit open for expansion.

Borehole electromagnetic surveys are underway to detect conductive sulphide targets and assist in planning deeper holes. Assay results are still pending for drilling in the West and 1500 areas.

Errington is advancing the wholly owned Sudbury Basin Project as part of a 45,000-metre drill campaign designed to support an initial mineral resource estimate scheduled for release in the second half of 2026. The exploration work follows a brokered private placement closed in August 2026 that raised gross proceeds of C$34.5 million, alongside a 48% expansion of the project's land position in July through the acquisition of 2,727 hectares of unpatented mining claims.

“These initial results from the 2026 drill program are an exciting step forward for Errington. We continue to intersect strong polymetallic mineralization at depth, including meaningful precious metals values that can enhance the overall value of this opportunity. Just as important, the drilling is improving our understanding of the structures that control mineralization and is opening up new areas to follow the system down-dip. The Errington Zone remains open, and these results give us a clear path to target additional growth as we advance the next phase of drilling.”

The company continues to advance technical work across its expanded land package as part of its ongoing exploration strategy in the Sudbury mining district.
