Errington Metals Intersects 5.92% Copper Equivalent Over 5.6 Metres at Balfour Main

Errington Metals Corp. has extended the Main and West zones at the Balfour mineralized target by 100 metres eastward along strike and 50 metres down dip, returning 5.6 metres grading 0.96% copper, 9.71% zinc, 3.79% lead, 0.23 g/t gold and 120.7 g/t silver, equal to a 5.92% copper equivalent in hole EMB-26-071 at Balfour Main.
The winter and spring exploration program at the Sudbury Basin Project in Ontario also yielded high-grade intervals at Balfour West. Hole EMB-26-058 returned 7.2 metres grading 1.40% copper, 4.99% zinc, 3.51% lead, 0.24 g/t gold and 146.4 g/t silver, representing a 5.10% copper equivalent. A peak silver interval was intersected at Balfour Main in hole EMB-26-069, returning 4.9 metres grading 0.24% copper, 5.19% zinc, 3.24% lead, 0.31 g/t gold and 226.3 g/t silver, or 4.72% copper equivalent. True widths for the reported intervals are estimated at 70% to 100% of downhole widths.
"The 2026 drilling at Balfour continues to deliver results that make this project compelling, including particularly attractive silver grades within broader copper-zinc-lead-gold mineralized intervals. The recent program reinforces the strength of the mineralization system at Balfour and the overall potential for growth as we advance Balfour, Errington and Vermilion toward a new mineral resource estimate."
Both the Main and West zones remain open at depth and along strike. The drilling program refined the project's 3D geological interpretation, pointing to a regional east-plunging syncline where mineralized zones are tightly folded and offset along strike by northeast-trending faults.
Errington is utilizing borehole electromagnetic surveys and airborne magnetic surveys to define folds, faults and conductive targets below surface. The results from the current program will be integrated with 2025 drilling data and historical records to support an initial mineral resource estimate for the Sudbury Basin Project.
The company is advancing its 45,000-metre drill campaign across the property following a brokered private placement that raised gross proceeds of C$34.5 million in August 2026 to fund ongoing exploration. Regional exploration activity in the district includes drill results reported at the Levack Mine by Magna Mining Inc.
