ESGold Corp. has taken a fresh operational step at its Montauban Gold-Silver Project in Québec, reporting the arrival of a Sepro Falcon Gravity Concentrator and industrial thickeners as plant commissioning advances across the 1,000-tonne-per-day processing facility.

The newly delivered Sepro Mineral Systems concentrator uses high-speed centrifugal forces to separate heavier, liberated precious metals from lighter material within the processing stream. Operating alongside it, the industrial thickeners supplied through A.M. King will handle solid-liquid separation, producing a higher-density underflow while allowing clarified water to be recovered and reused.

The facility is designed around a Merrill-Crowe recovery circuit, incorporating screening and separation, grinding, cyanide leaching, clarification, de-oxygenation, and doré production. ESGold is progressively assembling and commissioning these systems following the earlier completion of the main mill building, which was expanded to 4,000 square feet to accommodate supporting infrastructure.

The operational strategy at the flagship Québec asset combines the reprocessing of historic tailings to establish recurring cash flow with district-scale exploration across the wider property. To support its path toward production, the company holds a definitive doré purchase agreement with Ocean Partners UK Ltd. providing access to a non-dilutive working capital facility of up to C$9 million.

“Every major piece of equipment that arrives at Montauban makes the progress at site increasingly tangible,” said Gordon Robb, Chief Executive Officer of ESGold. “The Falcon Concentrator and thickeners are now at Montauban and moving into the next stages of installation, integration and commissioning. We have invested considerable time and capital building the infrastructure required to reach this point, and our focus is increasingly on bringing the various components of the processing circuit together in a controlled and systematic way.”

Commissioning is a progressive process, and each component that is installed, connected and tested moves the overall processing system forward.
