ESGold Completes Expanded ANT Survey and Updated 3D Geological Model at Montauban

ESGold Corp. has completed its expanded Phase 2 Ambient Noise Tomography survey and an updated property-scale three-dimensional geological model for the Montauban Project in Québec, expanding geophysical coverage northward across approximately 70 square kilometres.

Developed by Geomatic World Inc. using Leapfrog Geo with ANT interpretations from CAUR Technologies Inc., the survey deployed 200 three-component geophone stations that continuously recorded ambient seismic noise over a 32-day period. The resulting shear-wave velocity model provides geological constraint from approximately 86 metres to about 1.2 kilometres below surface, identifying broad near-horizontal low-velocity layers and narrower near-vertical corridors.

The updated model integrates the new geophysical data with 1,637 drillholes—including 90 additional historical holes—and 1,707 regional multi-element ICP samples. Geological interpretation indicates that these features provide a framework for evaluating deeper controls and potential extensions beyond historically mined lenses, with the southern and eastern corridors emerging as priority exploration areas.

The Montauban Project is ESGold's flagship asset, fully permitted, fully funded, and under construction as a pre-production mining operation.

“Completing ANT-2 and integrating it with our historical drilling, geochemistry and geological data gives us a much stronger framework for how we evaluate the broader Montauban property,” said Gordon Robb, Chief Executive Officer and Director of ESGold. “We now have a property-scale model that allows us to systematically rank opportunities and make more informed decisions about where we deploy exploration capital.”

“For the first time, we have a three-dimensional framework that allows us to follow the geological units associated with the known mineralization farther to the east while simultaneously tracing the deeper fault and structural system beneath Montauban,” said André Gauthier, Geological Engineer and Director of ESGold. “The integrated model gives us a much stronger basis to test for extensions, repetitions and potentially additional mineralized lenses beyond the historically explored footprint.”

Following database validation and target ranking, ESGold intends to develop a targeted drilling program to test priority geological hypotheses at the project, focusing initially on the southern and eastern corridors where multiple datasets converge.
