Eskay Mining Corp. has completed 3,638 metres of NQ diamond drilling across nine holes as part of its 2026 exploration program at its Consolidated Eskay Project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle.

To accelerate evaluation work, Eskay established a dedicated analytical facility in Stewart, B.C., in April 2026 to conduct detectORE gold analysis on drill core samples and analyze core-saw sludge using portable XRF for rapid compositional data.

Core from drill hole EM26-07 at the Vermillion target has shown visual similarities in multi-generational veins to core from the Brucejack Gold Deposit, located 13 kilometres to the east. The company noted that visual similarities do not indicate identical chemical compositions or mineralogy, and the core remains subject to formal laboratory assays.

In May 2026, Eskay contracted structural geologist Dr. Brett Davis to analyze structural geology elements across its 459-square-kilometre land package. Dr. Davis completed a comprehensive structural framework study in September to assist with logging multi-generational vein systems and prioritizing exploration targets.

Formal ALS assay results from drill hole EM26-02 and subsequent boreholes are expected in October 2026.

“While Eskay's focus for years has been to find a second Eskay Creek VMS deposit, the fact is that our very large property is equally prospective for copper/gold porphyry deposits and the epithermal gold deposits that often form around them. Our Vermillion target is now yielding core which looks similar in appearance to core from the rich Brucejack Gold Deposit which lies only 13 kilometers to the east of Vermillion. In addition, core and surface mapping at our Sultan target indicates that we are in the same Hazleton stratigraphy that hosts Goldstorm's Copernicus copper gold porphyry prospect four kilometers to its south, and not in Stuhini stratigraphy as shown on historical maps. Surface mapping and sampling have also been underway across drilling targets since July, with ALS analytical results anticipated between October and November.
