Everest Metals Corporation (ASX: EMC) is moving its Mt Dimer gold project in Western Australia toward production, with operations reaching a critical milestone ahead of processing. The company has confirmed that it has successfully stockpiled over 130,000 tonnes of ore on the run-of-mine (ROM) pad, setting the stage for the commencement of toll-treatment activities.

This production pathway is secured through a 200,000-tonne processing agreement with Medallion Metals, which will see the ore treated at the Cosmic Boy facility. This operational setup is facilitated by a non-dilutive "Right to Mine" agreement with MEGA Resources, a partnership that has provided the technical expertise and funding necessary to accelerate site activities since the contract was established in October 2025.

Executive Chairman and CEO Mark Caruso highlighted the dual focus of the current site work, which combines immediate extraction with efforts to extend the project's lifespan through ongoing data collection.

"The EMC team, together with MEGA, has continued to advance mining activities at Mt Dimer, with ROM stockpiling of ore. Grade control drilling is ongoing allowing a better understanding of total recoverable ounces from the current operation and expanding the known resource to underpin a potential phase 2 mining pit. The Right to Mine Agreement with MEGA has enabled us to accelerate development activities at Mt Dimer and positions the Company to pursue near-term positive cash flow generation subject to gold price."

The toll-treatment program represents the core focus for the company's near-term goals. As the site prepares for the transition to formal processing, the logistical timeline remains a primary catalyst for the project. Toll-treatment processing of Mt Dimer ore is scheduled to commence in late September 2026. This timeline dictates the immediate cadence of the operation, ensuring that the 130,000 tonnes currently sitting on the ROM pad are converted into potential revenue by the end of the third quarter.

Beyond the initial extraction phase, the company is using active grade control drilling to refine its understanding of the deposit's geometry. This technical work is instrumental in both de-risking the current mining plan and delineating mineralisation for future development. These efforts are not solely focused on the current pit; the drill data is actively informing the design for a second phase of mining. Phase 2 mining pit planning is supported by ongoing grade control drilling, ensuring that the company maintains a pipeline of extractable material as it progresses its production strategy in the Eastern Goldfields.
