Evergold Intersects Shallow Gold at Mt Monger
Evergold Minerals Limited has identified a new zone of shallow gold mineralisation named Vanguard at its Duchess of York prospect, located approximately 70 kilometres southeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Aircore drilling across three adjacent 50-metre-spaced holes returned broad gold intercepts within the upper weathered profile. Hole MM26AC0022 intersected 19 metres at 0.86 g/t gold from 28 metres, including 4 metres at 2.37 g/t gold from 40 metres. Additional drilling returned 9 metres at 1.01 g/t gold from 24 metres in hole MM26AC0023 and 4 metres at 0.65 g/t gold from 16 metres in hole MM26AC0024.

The new intercepts are interpreted as a near-surface western extension of mineralisation intersected in previous drilling. Geological logging indicates the gold is associated with stockwork quartz veining on a porphyry-sediment contact with visible sulphides, sharing the same framework that controls mineralisation at the Duchess of York main zone.
Evergold acquired 100% of the Mt Monger project in February 2026 through an option agreement with Metallium Limited, issuing 8,620,690 ordinary shares as consideration.
“Vanguard is an important addition to the Duchess of York story. The aircore program was designed to systematically test the ground around the main zone, and on the first line to the northwest we have intersected broad, shallow gold mineralisation. Importantly, those holes sit adjacent to historical drilling that intersected the same zone at depth, which gives us an interpreted mineralised footprint at Vanguard of around 250m from west to east and a further 250m to the north-northeast that remains open. What is particularly exciting is the geology - stockwork quartz veining on a porphyry-sediment contact with visible sulphides - the same association we see at Duchess of York, and it supports our view that Vanguard is an extension of the same system. These results now feed directly into a larger resource definition program (RC and DD) covering both the main zone and Vanguard, commencing in approximately four weeks.”

The Vanguard zone has now been added to an upcoming reverse circulation resource definition drilling program scheduled to commence in October 2026. Evergold is targeting a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the project in early 2027.
