Everlast Minerals Ltd has completed the installation and deployment of a new spiral processing floating platform at the Gaibandha Project in Bangladesh, with trial operations now officially underway to optimise performance and scale up production capacity.

The Gaibandha Project is Everlast’s 100%-owned flagship mineral sands operation. The newly deployed floating platform has been designed to materially increase potential processing capacity at the site, providing the company with greater operational flexibility as it progresses toward larger-scale commercial operations.

The design of the new platform incorporates direct operational learnings from ongoing pilot activities that relied on the site's existing spiral processing platform. Those earlier pilot-scale efforts supported initial export shipments totaling approximately 127 tonnes of material. This included a maiden export of approximately 109 tonnes of mineral sands concentrate in June 2026, followed by a second export shipment of approximately 18 tonnes of zircon concentrate in September 2026.

Over the coming months, the company will conduct trial operations and optimisation of operating parameters for the newly installed equipment. The current trial program will allow technical teams to refine processing performance, enhance safety and operating procedures, and train additional employees ahead of further operational expansion.

Material produced during the trial operating period is also intended to support further trial commercial exports, building upon the baseline export routes previously established with shipments to China. Results from the trial program will directly inform future processing parameters and the next stage of production scale-up at the project.
