Evion Group NL has identified a new 200-metre by 200-metre unmined target zone featuring barite-fluorite pathfinder alteration and hydrothermal brecciation at the Carp Fluorspar Project in Nevada, United States.

The maiden reconnaissance mapping and sampling programme located the prospect approximately 300 metres southwest of the South Pit, which was the historically highest-producing working at the project. Mapping across the target recorded barite, hydrothermal brecciation, calcite veining, and silica alteration within metamorphosed limestone and dolomite. The prospect is centred on two northwest-southeast trending structures defined over roughly 200 metres of strike from satellite imagery.

Evion secured an exclusive option to acquire the Carp Fluorspar Project in May 2026. The project previously produced approximately 44,900 tonnes at an average grade of around 69% CaF₂ between 1958 and 1971. In August 2026, the company was accepted into the U.S. Department of Defense Cornerstone Consortium to align its U.S. critical minerals activities with American industrial base priorities.

A total of 41 rock chip samples from the field programme, including 10 samples from the new southern prospect, have been submitted to a laboratory for analysis. Assay results are expected within the coming weeks.

Phase Two exploration is already underway. Evion has targeted the completion of a drone magnetic survey at 25-metre line spacing and flight height by the end of October 2026. This will be followed by surface geochemistry across the north-south mineralised zone, which is targeted for completion by year-end.
