Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. has appointed industry veteran Kenji Konishi as Head of Magnet Engineering Production, alongside a core team of senior magnet-manufacturing veterans from leading global producers to support the company’s manufacturing execution.

Mr. Konishi joins from JL MAG Rare Earth Co., Ltd., where he served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He brings decades of experience scaling high-performance sintered NdFeB magnet production to commercial volumes for Tier-1 automotive, industrial, and defense-adjacent OEMs. His career includes nearly two decades at Santoku Corporation and serving as Chief Executive Officer of Minmetals Santoku in Ganzhou, China. Joining him at Evolution Metals & Technologies are senior engineering professionals with prior tenure at TDK Corporation, SAE Magnetics, Daido Steel, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, and Napac.

The appointments support the company's expansion toward approximately 10,000 metric tons of annual rare earth magnet capacity by November 2026. This operational push reinforces the company's positioning regarding DFARS 252.225-7052 standards restricting prohibited-country rare earth magnets in U.S. defense systems, which becomes effective on January 1, 2027.

Trading volume on August 10, 2026, reached 198% above the 50-day average of 109,107 shares.
