ExGen Closes Final Tranche Of Upsized Placement To Raise $268,800

ExGen Resources Inc. has closed the second and final tranche of its upsized private placement, issuing 2,688,000 units at $0.10 per unit for gross proceeds of $268,800.
Combined with the first tranche closing announced in June 2026, the company issued a total of 10,738,000 units for combined gross proceeds of $1,073,800. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Whole warrants entitle the holder to acquire an additional common share at $0.15 for a period of two years following the closing.
Net proceeds from the offering are allocated toward potential exploration across the company’s properties, future acquisitions, and general working capital. All securities issued under the second tranche are subject to a hold period expiring on January 10, 2027. The offering received conditional approval from the TSX Venture Exchange and remains subject to final exchange approval. No finder’s fees were paid in connection with the final tranche.
Beyond its treasury initiatives, the project accelerator holds a 20% carried interest in the Empire copper project in Idaho, which is operated by Phoenix Copper Ltd. ExGen also holds a 100% interest in the Macrex property located in British Columbia's Alberni Mining District following an option exercise in August 2026.
Further across its portfolio, the Andacollo gold mine in Chile, on which ExGen holds a silver stream, is slated for a near-term production restart. Meanwhile, regional activity has seen district peer Kairos Gold Inc. closed a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of $9.82 million on July 16, 2026, to fund exploration programs at its projects within the surrounding district.
