F4 Uranium Stakes Kelic Lake Project Along Athabasca Basin Southern Margin

F4 Uranium Corp. has acquired the Kelic Lake Project in northern Saskatchewan through map staking, adding 4,835 hectares along the southern margin of the Athabasca Basin and marking the company's first project in that sector of the region.

The acquisition expands the company’s portfolio to approximately 124,000 hectares across 17 wholly owned properties in the basin. F4 Uranium Corp. was formed in 2024 following a spin-out of assets from F3 Uranium to focus on uranium exploration in the region.

Previous exploration on the property includes diamond drilling, airborne and ground electromagnetic surveys, and gravity and radiometric surveys. Historical drilling identified key structural features, including extensive Athabasca Sandstone alteration and faulting, graphitic and sulphide-bearing basement rocks, and anomalous uranium near the Athabasca Unconformity. Magnetics and VTEM surveys completed in 2005 identified conductive zones, including a northwest-southeast trending highest-priority zone extending onto the northern end of the property.

Historically, drill hole KLL-3 from 1978 intersected anomalous uranium immediately above the unconformity, returning 191 ppm U₃O₈ and 205 ppm Ni over a 0.61 m interval from two contiguous 0.30 m sandstone core samples. More recent drilling in 2015 by ALX Uranium Corp. intersected bleaching, desilicification, and an approximately 7.4-metre fault zone characterized by fractured sandstone, clay-coated fractures, and clay gouge.

This previous work has already demonstrated many of the core geological features we consider important when targeting Athabasca uranium deposits, including supportive geophysics, drill-confirmed graphitic structures, widespread bleaching and desilicification of the sandstone, and, importantly, anomalous uranium, including 191 ppm U₃O₈ over 0.61 m in historical drill hole KLL-3. Our technical team will now thoroughly compile, review and analyze this extensive historical dataset which contains all of the components required for drill targeting, ahead of the first F4 drilling program on the Property.”
