Falcon Energy Materials plc has appointed Yann Vincent as a non-executive director to strengthen its board as the company advances its downstream processing strategy in North Africa.

Vincent brings four decades of industrial experience in the European automotive and green energy sectors. He previously served as founding chief executive officer of Automotive Cells Company, a battery joint venture backed by Stellantis, TotalEnergies/Saft and Mercedes-Benz, where he oversaw the establishment of major European battery gigafactories. Prior to that, he held senior manufacturing and quality roles during a 27-year tenure at Groupe Renault and served as executive vice president of industrial and logistics at Groupe PSA.

Falcon's primary operational focus is the development of its proposed 25,000 tonnes per annum coated spheronized purified graphite facility in Morocco, supported by a pilot plant opened near Casablanca in July 2026. The company targets first production at the Morocco Anode Plant in the second half of 2027.
