Far East Gold Details Idenburg Scoping Study Pathways

Far East Gold Ltd has completed an independent scoping study for the Idenburg Gold Project in Indonesia, establishing a conceptual development pathway centred on the Sua prospect.
The study evaluates two conceptual cases—a Sua standalone operation and a staged expansion into the Bermol and North Bermol prospects. Both evaluations were modelled using a conventional gravity-carbon-in-leach processing route supported by a 92 percent metallurgical recovery assumption.
The project's resource base comprises a total JORC inferred mineral resource estimate of 7.8 million tonnes at 3.1 grams per tonne gold for 780,000 ounces of contained gold across the Sua, Bermol, North Bermol, and Mafi prospects. Within this inventory, Sua hosts an inferred mineral resource estimate of 5.6 million tonnes at 2.9 grams per tonne gold for 514,000 ounces.
An unconstrained grade-tonnage presentation indicates that applying a 3.0 grams per tonne gold cut-off isolates approximately 390,000 ounces at an average grade of 9.2 grams per tonne gold. This high-grade subset accounts for roughly 76 percent of Sua's contained gold within approximately 24 percent of its total tonnage.
Because the mineral resources supporting the assessment are classified entirely as inferred, the study is insufficient to support the estimation of ore reserves or provide certainty of an economic development case. Consequently, modelled production targets and forecast financial information have not been disclosed.
“Sua already hosts an inferred MRE containing 514,000 ounces of gold, including a compelling high-grade concentration of approximately 390,000 ounces at an average grade of 9.2 g/t Au based on a 3.0 g/t Au cut-off on the grade-tonnage curve. Combined with near-surface mineralisation, conceptual open-pit potential, strong preliminary metallurgical recoveries, a conventional processing route and close proximity to the Trans-Irian Highway, we believe Sua provides a strong foundation from which to advance the broader Idenburg Gold Project.”

Completion of the study outlines the technical work required to advance the asset and supports Far East Gold's contractual pathway under a conditional share purchase agreement. The company currently holds a 51 percent interest in the Idenburg contract of work and aims to increase its ownership to 80 percent upon delivery of an Indonesian feasibility study by 31 December 2027.
To build geological confidence and prepare for subsequent evaluation stages, Far East Gold has scheduled a recommended 73-hole drilling program spanning approximately 6,085 metres across Sua, Bermol, and North Bermol.
